2. Management Responsibility and Quality Audit
2.1 Quality Policy Statement
It is the policy of Martin’s Rubber Company Limited to provide and deliver the Company products on time and in accordance with stated customer requirements.
The achievement of high quality and consistency calls for a systematic and disciplined approach by all employees in all activities associated with the customer’s order according to the principles of Quality Assurance.
Martin’s Rubber Company Limited’s quality objective is to achieve sustainable profits by providing products that consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers.
This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the company to existing customers, potential customers and auditing authorities.
Achievement of this policy involves all staff, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continual improving working environment for all.
Martin’s Rubber Company Limited’s Manual defines the management organisation responsible for quality. The Chairman and Joint Managing Directors have ultimate authority and responsibility for the effectiveness of the Quality System. The Company Quality Manager is authorised and is responsible for implementing andmaintaining the Quality System defined in this Manual ad detailed in the Operating Procedures.
All operations shall be carried out as described in the Manual and the Operating Procedures. Deviation from the procedures must be first notified to the Company Quality Manager. The Chairman and Joint Managing Directors are responsible for final approval of all changes to procedures prior to implementation.
This statement represents our commitment, on behalf of Martin’s Rubber Company Limited, to the Quality Policy.
It is part of the Company’s training programme that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels in the organisation.
